Emma Townsend's Poirot learned about Hunter Breeding classes this year and was named the Zone 10 Reserve Champion 2 year old.

Our nice group of young horses traveled to Del Mar in August to compete in both the Sallie B. Wheeler National Hunter Breeding Championships and the International Hunter Futurity. The Sallie B. Lori brought home a new horse that she purchased from Ali Nilforushan at Del Mar. "Sparky" created quite a stir when everyone believed Lori was returning with a real horse and lots of laughs when he arrived!
The Halloween show put on by Peggy Fackrell was loads of fun. We tried our best to win the award for the best decorated tackroom again – but BOO – we didn't ! Look how beautiful!

We had a Happy Halloween.

Along with horse highlights this year, Sue & lori took the trip of a lifetime to Kenya, Africa. It was magnificent – especially the part where the humans stayed inside a compound or a jeep and the animals roamed wild!

Brandon Root celebrated his 30th birthday on November 23rd!  Friends from far and near came to celebrate.

As always our equine events wrap up with a trip to the George Morris clinic hosted by Patty Ball.  Hunterville is beautiful, with great jumps, good footing and a giant ring, so it’s always a treat to be there.  Marisa rode Pia and learned a great deal.  It was amazing to watch George at 72 years, climb on and demonstrate all the options in a series of bending lines!

GOOD WISHES FOR 2011
