Glen Fiddich, owned by Jen Grubb-Reed, and ridden by Dianne Yeager and Marisa Metzger, also showed that he is ready to go to the IHF this fall! He was consistent all through the Summer Series and continually earned good ribbons! Good job “Gavin”!
Ragtime Cowboy, owned by Twinkle Gorman, and ridden by Dianne Yeager, had a great four weeks of horse shows! With a CIRCUIT CHAMPIONSHIP in the Hunter Breeding Division, and a number of fantastic ribbons in the Baby Green Hunter Division, “Benson” is ready to head down to Showpark to compete in the IHF three year old division, and the Sallie B. Wheeler Hunter Breeding competition! Good Luck Benson! Benson is currently leading the country in the three year old division.

Lightacres also made the Journey to Spruce Meadows this summer, with Ashley’s three horses! Life of Riley, Silvana, and Pia’sadorable made the long trek up to Canada to compete in the 1.10, 1.20 and 1.30 divisions. Ashley was the number one qualifier for the NorCal 1.30 team, riding Sue Lightner’s Pia’sadorable, but was unfortunately unable to compete in the team competition, due to a minor injury that occurred during the first week. Nonetheless, the journey was well worth it when Ashley earned a spot in the “final four” competition in the 1.10 division aboard Life of Riley! Ashley also earned fantastic ribbons throughout her time in Canada aboard Silvana in the 1.20 classes! Congratulations to Ashley!
Congratulations to Marisa Metzger on being accepted into the second level of the Emerging Athletes Program! Marisa rode Sue Lightner’s Pia’sadorable in the second level, which took place in Bend, Oregon earlier this month! She thanks Sue for the chance to ride such a wonderful horse, and for the opportunity to attend!
