Lori Clark manages the lesson program at Lightacres, assisted by her son Brandon Root. Children and adults can take beginning through intermediate classes on well mannered, educated school horses.

The lesson barn is separate from the training barn with its own tackroom and equipment for each horse. All of the horses in our program have had very successful showing careers and have the manners, education and experience necessary to give new riders confidence and a true learning experience.

There are opportunities for sponsorships of the lesson horses as the riders advance.

Lori and her assistants attend numerous quality one-day horseshows, offering the possibility of showing to up-and-coming riders who are interested in pursuing that experience.
